More than 10 million Ukrainians — one-quarter of the country’s population — have been driven from their homes, including more than 4.7 million who have fled the country since Russia’s invasion began on Feb. 24.
Given that Canada has the world’s third-largest Ukrainian population (behind Ukraine and Russia) our country has pledged to resettle an unlimited number of refugees. For applicants, obtaining all the documents required and meeting all the requirements of having them translated and certified can be overwhelming.
Documents typically requested by Immigration are:
- Passport
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate
- Certificate of divorce
- Certificate of change of name
- Certificate of ownership
- Certificate of income
- Diploma(s)
- Certificate of maturity
- Police clearance certificate
- Identification code
- Driver’s license
- Technical passport for the car
- Extract from EDRPOU
- Financial, tax reporting (Ukrainian enterprises)
- Statements from card accounts
