Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick
In May 2019, LAT partnered with the Tourism Industry Association of New Brunswick to deliver Golden Dragon (China-Ready) training to tourism industry partners from across the province.
The session was delivered in Moncton, Saint John and Bathurst. Facilitated in English by LAT's Wenyan Go, the session was geared around helping tourism industry partners (hoteliers, shops, attractions, etc.) better understand the cultural preferences of Chinese visitors so they could be better prepared to adapt their services to appeal to this audience. The session covered off a variety of topics including cultural preferences to be aware of, preferred payment methods and online digital marketing strategies. At the end of the session, all participating organizations became "Golden Dragon Certified" in recognition of their commitment to providing excellent service to Chinese visitors.
This session was concrete and the presenter gave us great advice to better work with the Chinese market to make sure we attract them right while meeting their expectations, and offering them an adapted service. The facilitator was knowledgeable and strong.
