LAT is seeking a Translator-Reviewer English to French.
Start date: as soon as possible
Responsibilities
This position is for providing translation, proofreading, revision and quality assurance services for work translated (or transcreated) from English to French, in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, with a focus on quality, style, accuracy and readability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years experience in English to French translation on a wide range of materials, especially in the Marketing field
- 2 years of experience in revision (in the Marketing field, an asset)
- University degree in Translation or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in French and English communication skills (oral and written)
- Highly quality-oriented
- Strong familiarity with translation resources and terminology tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-stakeholder and fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently (from home) but also as part of a team
